Oren Lee Miller, 33, of Middlebury, died at 2:40 pm on Thursday, March 24, at the scene of a motor vehicle accident at County Road 43 and US 20 in Middlebury. He was born on August 5, 1988 in Goshen to Freeman A. and JoAnn (Miller) Miller. On August 27, 2009 in Shipshewana, he married Leann Petersheim, she survives. Survivors in addition to his wife are two sons, Christopher Jon Miller, and Kyle James Miller; a daughter, Bethany Joy Miller; his mother, JoAnn Miller of Middlebury; three sisters, Diana Kay (Lamar Lynn) Schrock of Goshen, Amy Marie Miller and Miriam Jo Miller both of Middlebury. He was preceded in death by his father, Freeman A. Miller on March 16, 2018. Oren was a member of the Old Order Amish Church and was currently working for Crossroads RV, Topeka in the welding shop. He also really enjoyed working part-time at the Village Inn Restaurant in Middlebury. Visitation will be after 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 26, and all day Sunday, March 27, at the Leon Wingard residence, 11692 County Rd. 18 Middlebury. Funeral services will be at 9:30 am on Monday, March 28, at the same residence. Services will be conducted by Bishop Melvin R. Miller and the home ministers. Burial will be in Miller 8 Square Cemetery, Goshen. Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, Middlebury is in charge of arrangements.
