Mabel E. Miller, 86, of Goshen, died at 9:00 pm, on Saturday, May 21, at her residence. She was born on January 23, 1936, in Topeka, to Emanuel and Nora (Miller) Schlabach. On October 20, 1960, in LaGrange County, she married Eli M. Miller, he died May 19, 2018. Surviving are five daughters, Marilyn (Sam) Miller of Goshen, IN, Ruth (Nelson) Gingerich of Middlebury, Lorene (David) Beachy of Goshen, Lora (LaVon) Yoder of Middlebury, Elaine (Nathan) Lambright of Middlebury; five sons, Wayne (Grace) Miller of Goshen, Glen (Leona) Miller of Goshen, James (Inez) Miller of Middlebury, Leon (Susan) Miller of Goshen, Larry (Doretta) Miller of Goshen; 56 grandchildren; 66 great grandchildren; a brother, Omer (Ann) Schlabach of Middlebury; two sisters, Viola (Ervin) Bontrager of Shipshewana, Alice (Elmer) Yoder of Topeka; two sisters-in-law, Beulah Schlabach of Middlebury, Fannie Schlabach of Goshen. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; four brothers, Orva, Wilbur, John and Roman Schlabach; three sisters, Wilma Yoder, Emma Kauffman, and Esther Miller and a great grandson, Adrian Yoder. Mabel was a homemaker and member of the Old Order Amish Church. Visitation will be after 3:00 pm on Sunday, May 22, and all day Monday, May 23, 2022 at the family's residence, 14704 CR 28 Goshen. Funeral services will be at 9:30 am on Tuesday, May 24, also at the family’s residence. Services will be conducted by Bishop Raymond Yoder and the home ministers. Burial will be in Miller 8 Square Cemetery, Goshen.
