Levi Jay Miller, 73, of LaGrange, died at 11:09 am on Wednesday, May 25 at his residence. He was born on September 11, 1948, in Sturgis, MI, to Christian and Viola (Miller) Miller. On May 17, 1984, in LaGrange, he married Mary (Lehman) Otto, she survives. Survivors in addition to his wife are son, Amos (Ruth) Otto of LaGrange; two grandsons, Joshua and James Otto; two sisters, Anna Lambright of Topeka, Polly (Enos) Mullet of Shipshewana; three brothers, Erwin (Mary) Miller of Shipshewana, Chris (Wilma) Miller of Middlebury, Perry (Wilma) Miller of Shipshewana. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ida Mae Miller; brother-in-law, Leland Lambright. Levi was a retired schoolteacher and a member of the Old Order Amish Church. Visitation will be after 2:00 pm on Thursday, May 26 and all day Friday, May 27 at the Amos Otto residence, 3360 W. 400 S., LaGrange. Funeral services will be at 9:30 am on Saturday, May 28 at the Gerald Lehman residence, 3180 W. 400 S., LaGrange. Services will be conducted by Bishop LeRoy Troyer and the home ministers. Burial will be in Miller Cemetery, LaGrange.
