Joseph Wayne Fry, 79, of Goshen, formerly of Middlebury, died at 12:15 pm, on Monday, January 3 at Courtyard of Goshen. He was born on December 24, 1942, in Hutchinson, Kansas, to Joe A. and Lena (Stutzman) Fry. Surviving are brother, Ivan (Linda) Fry of Middlebury; sister-in-law, Cheryl Fry of Middlebury; three nieces, Lisa (Walter) Cortes of Middlebury, Michelle (Cody) Burke of Ligonier, Christy (Mike) Koch of Middlebury; two nephews, Randy (Trenda) Fry of Middlebury, Rob Grossman of Sacramento, CA; 16 great nieces and nephews, eight great-great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Lloyd Fry and an infant brother and sister. Wayne worked as a delivery driver for Artisan Interiors and retired from Shasta Trailers. He also was an Amish taxi driver. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Friday, January 7 at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, 1003 South Main Street, Middlebury. There will also be one hour of visitation prior to the 10:00 am funeral on Saturday, January 8 also at the funeral home. Services will be conducted by Pastor Dave Rowland. Burial will be in Grace Lawn Cemetery, Middlebury. Memorials may be given to your local Lions Club.
