Jerri Lynn Tackett, 49, of Lavalette, WV, formerly of Bristol, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 19 at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, WV. She was born on February 19, 1973, in Goshen, to Jerry Neal and Olivia "Ovie” (Mullins) Tackett. Surviving her are two sisters, Laura (James) Greensides of Bristol, Tina Knight of LaGrange; two brothers, Randy (Kelly) Tackett of Constantine, MI, Rick (Linda) Tackett of Fontana, CA; sister-in-law, Betsy Tackett of Shipshewana; best friend/sister, Tammy Bowen of Shipshewana. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Jeff and Terry Tackett; fiancé, Bill Middleton. Jerri worked at the front desk at several motels in Kendallville and as a clerk at Chalet Party Shoppe. She collected Mickey Mouse memorabilia and loved her dogs and cat. A memorial service will take place at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 9 at Waypoint Community Church, Goshen. Services will be conducted by Pastor Blair Carlstrom. Memorials may be given to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses. Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, Middlebury, is assisting the family with arrangements.
