Harry Schrock, 92, of Goshen, formerly of Shipshewana passed away at 8:06 am on Tuesday, October 26, at Goshen Health Hospital. He was born on July 29, 1929 in LaGrange to “Buggy Harry” and Marie (Mishler) Schrock. On January 1, 1950 in Loman, MN he married Dorothea Schantz, she passed away June 22, 2013; then on November 19, 2017 he married Wilma (Miller) Troyer, she passed away September 25, 2019. Surviving are a son, Daniel (Lisa) Schrock of Vanleer, TN; two daughters, Miriam (Dave) Stutzman of Mesa, AZ and Rhoda (Keith) Ackerman of Buckley, MI; eight grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; four sisters, Iola Schrock of Middlebury, Ellen Mishler of Shipshewana, Waneta (Wilbur) Miller of Middlebury, Betty June Kauffman of Ephrata, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents; both wives; three brothers, Francis, Marion and Merle Schrock; and a sister, Beulah Schrock. Harry was ordained as a minister in the Mennonite Church in 1968 and later as a Bishop. He served over 50 years in ministry. He was a member and the overseeing Bishop of the Gospel Haven Church, Gosport, IN. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, November 1, at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, 1003 South Main Street Middlebury. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday, November 2, at Fairhaven Mennonite Church, Goshen. Services will be conducted by Rev. Keith Amstutz.
