Harley E. Miller, 93, of Shipshewana, died at 12:50 am, on Saturday, October 30 at his residence. He was born on May 23, 1928, in LaGrange, to Enos E. and Ida J. (Yoder) Miller. On December 21, 1950, in LaGrange County, he married Wilma D. Bontrager, she died February 18, 1993. Surviving are daughter, Esther H. Miller of Shipshewana; two sons, Nelson Lee (Mary) Miller of Shipshewana, Jerry H. (Dorothy) Miller of Middlebury; son-in-law, Henry S. (Ella) Mast of LaGrange; 12 grandchildren, one step grandchild, 58 great-grandchildren, seven step great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, one step great-great grandchild; brother, Jerry E. (Ruby) Miller of Shipshewana; two sisters, Ida Mae Bontrager of Shipshewana, Anna E. Mast of LaGrange. He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; daughter, Frieda Mae Mast; three sons, Wilbur H., David H., and Marvin H. Miller; daughter-in-law, Ruth Miller; two grandchildren, one step grandchild, one great-grandchild; two brothers, Ezra and Vernon Miller; three sisters, Wilma Bontrager, Amanda Miller, and Alma Beechy. Harley was a farmer and a member of the Old Order Amish Church. Visitation will be after 2:00 pm on Sunday, October 31 and all day Monday, November 1 at the Ernest Mast residence, 1735 S. 850 W., Shipshewana. Funeral services will be at 9:30 am on Tuesday, November 2 also at the Ernest Mast residence. Services will be conducted by Bishop Elmer A. Yoder and the home ministers. Burial will be in Yoder Cemetery, Shipshewana.
