Obituary

Esther "Lucille" Miller, 86, of Middlebury, died at 9:31 am on Monday, June 6, at her daughter’s residence in Middlebury. She was born on December 19, 1935, in Topeka, to John I. and Elizabeth (Wingard) Schrock. On November 29, 1956, in Topeka, she married Rudy C. Miller, he died June 9, 2020. Surviving are four daughters, Ruth (Steve) Burkholder of Bremen, Edna (Jerry) Miller of Middlebury, Esther (Daniel) Mullet of Goshen, Marilyn Ziegler of Goshen; four sons, Marvin (fiancée Vickie Smith) Miller of Bethpage, TN, Daniel (Katie) Miller of Middlebury, Mervin Miller of Shipshewana, Olen (Trish) Miller of Bethpage, TN; 26 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren; brother, Menno Schrock of Nappanee; two sisters, Anna Miller, Edna (Andy) Bontrager both of Topeka; sister-in-law, Mary Schrock of Middlebury. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; granddaughter, Lisa Miller; two brothers, Cletus Schrock, Elmer Schrock; six sisters, Beulah Argeoto, Ida Kiser, Mary Bontrager, Alice Stewart, Kathryn Schrock, Wilma Price. Lucille was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church. Visitation will be after 1:00 pm on Tuesday, June 7 and all day Wednesday, June 8 at the Dan Miller residence, 60223 CR 37, Middlebury. Funeral services will be at 9:30 am on Thursday, June 9 also at the Dan Miller residence. Services will be conducted by Bishop John Stoltzfus and the home ministers. Burial will be in Thomas Cemetery, Goshen.
