Elaine Kay (Stutzman) Yutzy, 56, of Shipshewana, peacefully went to meet her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ while surrounded by her family on Sunday, November 7, at 6:30 am at her residence, after a brief illness. She was born on March 9, 1965 in LaGrange County to Kenneth Jay and Erma P. (Miller) Stutzman. On May 20, 1987 in Middlebury she married John Yutzy, he survives. Surviving in addition to her husband is her mother of Middlebury; three sisters, Leona Jean (Marion) Yutzy, Doris Ann (John) Troyer, Regina Rose (Brent) Miller all of Middlebury. Three brothers, Joe Devon (LaVera) Stutzman of Middlebury, Dean Jay (Linda) Stutzman of Shipshewana, James Arlin (Waneta) Stutzman of LaGrange. Twelve nieces and five nephews, Darin Yutzy of Middlebury, Marcus Yutzy of Goshen, Eva (Marcus) Bontrager of Middlebury and their three children, Austin, Adison and Alivia Bontrager, Dena (Adrian) Miller of Shipshewana, Amber Stutzman of Shipshewana, Angela (Nathan) Stutzman of Middlebury, Branden, Austin, and Keanna Troyer of Middlebury, Bethany, Jessica, Jenny, Brooklyn and Weston Stutzman of LaGrange; Hayden, Kylie and Harper Miller of Middlebury. She was preceded in death by her father; two nieces, Jenna Elaine Yutzy and Michele Ranae Stutzman; grandparents, Harry and Ida (Miller) Stutzman and Phillip and Wilma (Lambright) Miller. Elaine loved the Lord and had an anointed gift of music and hospitality. She spent much of her time welcoming both new and existing friends and family into her home, joyfully serving meals and sharing the love of Christ with them. Her heart and love for children was very evident in her life, she loved teaching VBS, Sunday School and invested her time and love in the lives of her nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, November 8, and 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday, November 9, at Townline Mennonite Church. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 am on Wednesday, November 10, at Fairhaven Mennonite Church.  Services will be conducted by Evangelist Nelson Coblentz and Pastor Dean Yoder. Burial will take place at Miller-Glick-Stutzman Cemetery, Middlebury. Memorial contributions may be given to the family to assist with medical expenses.
