C. Duane Yoder, 77, of Shipshewana, passed away at 5:33 PM on Tuesday, November 2, with his wife and sons by his side, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. He was born on May 22, 1944 in Millersburg to Clarence A. and Wilma D. (Miller) Yoder. On December 3, 1971 at Pleasant Grove Church, Goshen he married Rosanna Yoder, she survives. Survivors in addition to his wife are two sons, Darrick L. Yoder and Corbett W. Yoder both of Shipshewana; granddaughter, Mickenzie A. Yoder of Murphysboro, TN; two sisters, Sharon (Merlin) Miller of Estacada, OR and Jayne R. (Merl) Martin of Goshen. He was preceded in death by his parents. Duane had been a salesman for Honeyville Metal from 1965 until 2007 and after retirement worked at Fiber By-Products/Copper Coin as a parts runner, working until his recent illness and passing. He did voluntary service in the 1960s in both Costa Rica and Nicaragua. He was a member of Living Hope Christian Fellowship and loved spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter. He enjoyed reading, listening to trains on YouTube, solving crossword puzzles and playing games with his wife. Visitation will be from 2:00 - 8:00 pm on Friday, November 5, at Griner Church, 12418 CR 20 Middlebury. Funeral services will be at 9:30 am on Saturday, November 6, also at the church. Services will be conducted by Pastors Jason Miller and Josh Berkshire. Burial will be in Griner Cemetery, Middlebury. Memorials may be given to Living Hope Christian Fellowship.  Online condolences may be offered at
