Alfred "Al" Lee Lambright, 81, of Middlebury passed away peacefully after a brief illness at 11:21 pm on Tuesday, December 21, at Goshen Health Hospital, Goshen. He was born on September 3, 1940 in LaGrange to Guy and Virginia (Leatherman) Lambright. On November 3, 1962 in Osceola he married Rebekah "Elaine" Holderread. He is survived by his wife; two sons, Mark Lambright of Goshen, Mike Lambright of Middlebury; two daughters, Cheryl (John) Huss of Goshen, Kelly (Craig) Woolsey of Goshen; seven grandchildren, Sareen, Jason, Maranda, Kyle, Cory, Derek, Brett; five great grandchildren, Elijah, Parker, Shelby, Eloise, Jenny, Jay; two brothers, Roger (Monica) Lambright of Syracuse, Charlie Lambright of Goshen; seven sisters, Verna Baldonado of San Diego, CA, Julia Giggy of LaGrange, Gloria (Andy) Salonic of Eager, AZ, Valerie Brett of Nappanee, Brenda (Nip) Beer of Elkhart, Cindy Lambright of White Pigeon, MI, Connie (Charlie) Riley of Greenville, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Kenneth Duane Lambright, Leonard Lambright and Verlin Lambright and a great granddaughter, Wren. Al had worked as an auto mechanic for most of his life owning and operating several different service stations. He attended Pleasant Ridge Christian Fellowship and he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and his favorite dog companion, Tina. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, December 28, at Pleasant Ridge Christian Fellowship, 15510 Co Rd 22, Middlebury. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, December 29, also at the church. Services will be conducted by Pastor Mike Bird. Memorials may be given to Pleasant Ridge Christian Fellowship.
